Not sure what to say?

I regret not being able to pay my respects in person when Maura passed. She was a wonderful person who always had a smile as she greeted members at the tennis club, which they very much appreciated ... and at times a touch of sarcasm, which always cracked me up.

What a long year this has been without our beloved friend. We miss Maura every single day. She changed so many lives for the better. Love from all her friends in the Vision Department of Springfield.

Brian, Mary Jane, Tim, Brendan, Bunzer and Erin:
I just heard of Maura's passing last week. I want you to know my heart and prayers go out to you all. I have wonderful memories of Maura that I will treasure for a lifetime.

Dear Brian and Mary Jane, Tim, Brendan, Bunzer and Erin...
I was so sorry to hear of Maura's passing. I know that a family as strong as yours will always cherish the memory of, and never forget, one lost.
Thinking of you....
Best,
Cliff

Dear Brian and Mary Jane,

I was shocked to hear of Maura's passing. I am so sorry for all of your family. Maura and I spent many, many hours together as we traveled back and forth to school, first at Boston College and then UMass Boston. She spent a lot of time telling me stories of her family. I know beyond a doubt that she loved each of you with all of her heart and was so proud of each member of her family for different reasons. She so appreciated the support of both of...

Dear Halloran Family:
We were so sorry to hear of your loss. It has been too long since we have been in touch. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help at this time. Ernie, Linda, Heather, Mike, Nathan and Christopher Burt

Dear Loving Halloran Family....
We just heard of the terrible loss of your beloved Maura and are SO saddened by the news. It has been a VERY long time since our paths have crossed, but we have many delightful memories of our young families growing up just a few streets away from each other in Westfield. Please know we're sending HUGS to EACH of you and our heartfelt sympathy !
Love from Bette + Ernie Burt and ALL of our Loving Family (Ernie, Laura, and Marcie)

Mary Jane, Brian, Timmy, Bunzer, Brendan and Erin,

I have kept you all in my thoughts and prayers. As i think back of growing up in Westfield and all the great times the Shea's had hanging out with the Hallorans I wanted to let you know that we are all so very lucky to have had Maura as a friend.

As I tried to explain Maura's passing to my own kids and who she was the best way I could explain it to my own children was that she was an "irish cousin"

I know...

Maura was a fabulous, dedicated teacher who worked wonders with her students. She had a charming, caring personality and always a positive attitude. It was a pleasure to work with her at Ells School. What a loss.

May God keep you all in his care.

With sincere sympathy,
Carlene Matthison
