Not sure what to say?

RIP Maura - a really positive local civilian diplomat and a good friend and mentor of Model UN. Not to be forgotten !

I am embarrassed to say that I am only now learning of Maura's passing, but I am nonetheless deeply saddened.

Maura welcomed me into her home many times over the years as a childhood friend of her daughter Fiona. I remember her fondly as someone who simultaneously showed an incredible work ethic *and* cared deeply about not just her children, but everyone in their lives. To me, she was always kind and supportive. I remember that she nurtured my budding interest in the Japanese culture...

Remembering Maura today on the anniversary of her passing - a great citizen diplomat and a good person to work with in the blossoming partnership between the CCWA and St Edward high School Model UN Program! (Michael Perrins)

Dear Neil and family -- My heart breaks for you all, as I have just learned this news. Maura was a very dear friend at Boston College. She was fiercely independent, full of fun and had a heart as big as the sky. I loved that she was always passionate about issues. I was very fortunate to have our friendship continue through the years. she was one of a kind and I will miss her deeply;

Dear Neil and family,

I am so sorry to hear of Maura's passing. Wilbur sent me a nice article about her life and accomplishments. She was a wonderful person and I know she will live on in the memories of your family and all the people she touched. God Bless Maura and the McCarthys.

I also was a classmate of Maura's in the Charter Class of LEADERship Ashtabula County 30 years ago and was on the board of the Civic Development Corporation when she was the Executive Director. Maura was whip-smart and classy and added something significant to any organization she touched.

My condolences to you, Neil, and the kids and grandkids. May perpetual light shine upon her.

30 years ago Maura and I were in the same class (the Charter Class) of LEADERship Ashtabula County. She was already amazing back then and we will miss her now. Sympathy to all her friends and family.

Dear Maura's Family, please accept my sincerest condolences for your loss. I, along with our fellow 2018 Class of the Cleveland FBI Citizens Academy, knew Maura for only a short amount of time, and she was just lovely to be around. Very smart, thoughtful, giving. May she Rest In Peace with our Lord Jesus Christ. Memory eternal.
