Dearest, Maura - From the first I met you - I liked you so well! We chatted for a long time! And many times after. You were such a lover of life to the fullest! You suggested books for our book group and took me/us back to that great author, William Kent Kruger! The very day we discussed 'Ordinary Grace' your sisters came and returned your book, and read us the last page. We were deeply moved. Thanks for living your life with depth and extraordinary 'grace'. When I think of Maura I remember seeing her outside before the sun came up tending to her yard and garden beds. And she used to ply my sister and I with cookies when we´d come over to visit. She will be dearly missed.

I remember going to Maura´s house when I was younger (as her neighbor) and she would give my sister and I peanut butter cookies. She was such a kind soul and will be missed by all that knew her dearly.

Maura was the kind of person that made you feel like you were a lifelong friend. I enjoyed our conversations. She was always upbeat, positive, and friendly. I will miss you my friend.
