Maureen was an honorable, empathetic, supportive, strong, persistent, stubborn, hard-working, tough, sweet, vulnerable, funny--lovely woman. Determined. Able. Intelligent and dedicated to improving her relationships with her siblings. Very evolved yet down to earth.
We had a lot of fun over the years; we shared heartaches over the years.
I thank God for the gift of her friendship. If such things are possible, I hope we meet again.

Maureen is remembered as a kind and gentle person. She faced many obstacles but found a way to overcome them. Some would use them as excuses, but Maureen believed in personal agency. Her profession involved helping people. She would interview individuals and ask them about their strengths and weaknesses. Use your strengths to find a better job.
