Not sure what to say?

Anyone who was fortunate enough to have had Ms. Darling cross their paths, knows first hand, she is one of the fondest memories we all share.

I was blessed to have her as a teacher. She set high expectations and did not accept nothing less. The last time we spoke I had become a teacher and I reached out to her. She said "Mona, can you believe Crayola finally made skin colored crayons!" We both agreed that it was about time. I will cherish every push she gave me; every art program she enrolled me in; and most of all, every afterschool moment she spent with me and my family. I have never forgotten. Miss Darling Was my 6th grade teacher at Miller School in Utica. I chuckled reading her obituary and the reference to being a prankster, boy was she! Needless to say that is a memory of her that I will hold near and dear to my heart til my...

When we connected on Facebook several years ago, she remembered me from so many years ago, as my father is from Dolgeville. I'm sure she left a lasting...

My deepest sympathy to the family. I went to Albany St. School and knew Miss Darling. Everyone wanted her as a teacher. She was a wonderful person. Rest in peace!
