I didn't get the chance at the wake to share some memories of your mother and I when we were both very young and Aunt Delia took us to Baltimore to visit the relatives. It was so hot, so long a train ride and then getting picked up at the train station in Baltimore and piling into a car that broke down on the way home. On behalf of my sisters, my wife, and my daughter, please accept my deepest condolences on maureen's passing. she was a strong and proud woman. she will be missed.

To The Dowd Family,
I had the privilege of speaking with Maureen often as I arranged for nurse substitutes in Windsor. She was always pleasant and willing to lend whatever hand she could. We will miss her.
