Maureen Fazzina

Maureen (Sheehy) Fazzina, 75, passed on Thursday, March 10, 2022 after a courageous seven year battle with cancer.

Maureen was born and raised in Hartford, She resided in Rocky Hill for much of her life where many will remember her as the assistant clerk at the Rocky Hill Town Hall. Maureen loved to visit her family in Ireland and spend time with family and friends at home.

Maureen leaves behind her husband and life partner, Roy Fazzina of Rocky Hill, her children, Sharon Patridge and husband Ned Partridge of Rocky Hill, Valerie Hollenbeck and husband Wayne Hollenbeck of Middletown, Michele Shulman and husband Len Shulman of Commack, New York, and Anthony Fazzina of Rocky Hill as well as her beloved grandchildren, Ryan and Christopher Partridge, Kathryn and Allison Shulman. She is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Mary Sheehy, her brother, Edward Sheehy Jr., and her sister, Elizabeth Peterson.

In lieu of flowers, Maureen requested that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the American Cancer Society. More so, Maureen requested that those who wish to celebrate her life simply make a toast in her memory and share a funny "Maureen"story.

Her life will be honored in a mass of Christian Burial at 11am on Tuesday, March 15 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church on Brook Street in Rocky Hill. Burial is private. Please meet at the church.
