Maureen will be missed. I met her because my USAF supervisor would give me a half day off when I gave blood every 8 weeks, and because of my schedule, she was the one who would poke me. We got to know each other, and she convinced me to commit to being an apheresis donor every two weeks. My USAF supervisor would not, however, commit to giving me time off every two weeks.
