MAUREEN CAROLYN “Reni” HENDRICKX
February 21, 1945 – July 18, 2018

   Maureen Carolyn “Reni” Hendrickx, age, 73, a long time Park Rapids, MN area resident peacefully passed into eternity at her home on Wednesday, July 18, 2018.
   Reni was born in New York Mills, MN to Lawrence and Marcella (Bauer) Hendrickx. She graduated from St. Cloud Technical High School with the Class of 1963 and went on to attend the St. Cloud Beauty College graduating in 1965. She worked many positions in insurance, retail and food service, most recently at Walmart in Park Rapids and BJ’s Café and Catering in Nevis and St. Cloud. For many years she worked at Gopher Bargain Center and Old St. Nick’s, both in St. Cloud. Reni was also a 35 year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 622 and 870 where she was active with both Ladies Auxiliaries.
   Reni is survived by her daughter, Terri (John) Weiner of Casper, Wyoming; her two grand-daughters: Bridget and Emily Weiner; her five siblings: Wayne (Dinah) Hendrickx of Othello, WA, Anita Hendrickx of St. Cloud, Tony Hendrickx of Annandale, MN and Brenda Hendrickx (Dean) of Lake George, MN; sister-in-law, Faith Hendrickx; as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Lyle and Glen and sister-in-law, Lori.
   Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home with Pastor Mike English of the Lake George Bible Chapel officiating. Visitation will be held from 9AM until the time of the service on Wednesday. Graveside services will be held 3 PM Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery of Butler, MN.
