Not sure what to say?

All,
I was so saddened to hear of Maureen's passing. She was truly a sweet, caring and gentle woman who's love for live touched everyone.I feel privileged to have been involved in her care and only wish the outcome had been different. She fought this difficult battle with the help of your love and caring with dignity and poise. I will truly miss her. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

On a recent trip to the coast of Maine, Judy and I walked on the beach to gather a few shells to send to Maureen. I was happy that a few of my "finds" were included in the package. ...

I met dear, sweet Maureen at Evans' in Bennington where I am weekend manager. We teachers find each other, and our connection was immediate. We both retired from teaching primary for a million years and we had so much to talk about. Over the time, my Dad was dying and near the end we took away all company as he was agitated by noise and confusion. But a very few were allowed in and Maureen was among them. She would just sit quietly with him, sometimes holding his hand, and her gentle...
