Not sure what to say?

Oh, how I miss Maureen. She was my Environmental camp buddy for more than 15 years and we shared so many experiences. Mo had a natural curiosity and the energy to explore the things that interested her. Her smiles and love of life were contagious. Students were fortunate to have known her, and she was able to find a way to teach a difficult concept to many a struggliing child. MY life was enriched by having known Maureen. I will never forget her.

Maureen was such a fun person. She was the life of the party or wedding and they can be crazy in our family.! She will be missed by all her Fillion cousins greatly. I always look for her at the Holliston Craft Fair every year and I always end up bumping into her. I know I will expect to see her this year even though I won't and that makes me very sad.

Deat Leighton Family,
We were sooooo sorry to hear of Maureen's passing. You all hold a special place in our hearts as you were wonderful and allowed our son Gregory Bruno to work on your house. He enjoyed this and was very proud of what he was able to do and accomplish for you. He thought you were a great family and was happy when he was working for you. Thank you for putting your trust in a 17/18year old to work on your place...it took a lot of courage to do that...but we are thankful...

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of Maureen. My son Tim was lucky enough to have her as one of his teachers along with Jan Casey in the Medfield Middle School. Those years were the best school years he had. Maureen was such an upbeat, happy person. She was so interested in each and every student and did so much to encourage them to reach their fullest potential. She will be greatly missed by all her special friends. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. The Duffy Family

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Mrs. Leighton was a ray of sunshine into the lives of so many students. The children of Medway were blessed to have had her in our Middle School. I know that my son was blessed for having known her. She will live in our hearts forever.

Ira and family, we are truly saddened at your loss. Mausie was a wonderful person, she had never changed since our high school days. We are glad to have know her.

Mrs.Leighton was a fabulous teacher and person. I was very lucky to be her student this year and will miss her greatly! For the time I knew her I admired her individualiaty and her personality!

Dear Jason,

I am deeply sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Mrs. Leighton was one of the most engaging and enthusiastic teachers I have ever known. I learned greatly from her lessons in class and even more so from her always cheerful disposition. She inspired her students, including myself, to be enthusiastic about learning and happy about life. She has made a difference in the lives of countless students, each of which will miss her dearly.
