MAUREEN E. MCDERMOTT

I was so sorry to recently learn of Maureen's passing. I was Maureen's manager at IBM for a short while a number of years ago. Maureen was one of the smartest, hardest working, and fun employees I had the opportunity to work with during my years at IBM.
I was happy to hear that Maureen had embarked on such a noble career after she left IBM but now am so saddened to hear of her passing.

Hadn't heard from Maureen for a while so did a search and found this. I am so so sorry for your loss. Maureen was a beautiful and brave human being. I worked with her for many years at IBM and was so impressed when she changed careers to pursue her dream of working with the blind. She was an incredibly capable and smart lady and I will miss her. Hugs to all of you.
