Westfield- Maureen McDonald, formerly of Chicopee, passed away on February 23, at the age of 80. Born in Utica, NY on November 11, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Dorothy (O’Halloran) McDonald. Maureen was a graduate of Nazareth College in Rochester, NY, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. She was employed as an art teacher, working in public schools in the Springfield area, as well as teaching at Holyoke Catholic High School. Maureen was a lifelong artist and a member of the Tobacco Valley Artists Association. Her paintings were exhibited extensively throughout the northeast. Maureen is survived by her sons, David Crumb, and his wife, Terriann DuFault, and Jeffrey Crumb, as well as her siblings, Michael McDonald, Mark McDonald, and Kathleen Freytag. In addition to her parents, Maureen was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Kingsley.
