Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Maureen's passing this morning. In 1982 I was run over by a boat spearfishing and was picked up by Life Flight and taken to Baptist. The helo landed on the roof, the rotors spun down and they slide my onto the gurney. First person I saw looking up was Maureen. I said, "hi Maureen". She was surprised and after some time figured out who I was - a few years earlier, I had volunteered in the ER for several months while waiting to take my EMT State Boards. Once down in the...

Rest in Peace, Maureen and Thank You...Ray Simons, FDNY-EMS (Ret.)

I hope Maureen finds peace. What we need to remember abut Maureen & Paramedics,Police & Fire Depts. when a disaster happens, These Hero's think about the "VICTIMS" NOT Themselves. They give NO thought to their personal safety, she wanted to save LIVES.

Rest in peace Maureen

Truly saddened to hear of Maureen's pre-mature passing. She was our Life Flight "Mom" to many of us who served on the flight crew over the years. I will always value the years I worked with and for Maureen -- she was a great teacher, flight nurse, boss, and co-worker. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

My heartfelt sympathy to Maureen's family. May her light continue to shine for a long time.

I knew Maureen when she first started working at Baptist ER in the 1970's. I oriented her to the ER and worked with her for many years. She was a very kind, wonderful person and fantastic nurse! I am so sorry to hear of her premature death and my prayers to Joe and her family. She is soaring with the Angels now. I am honored to have known her.

Maureen was a lovely lady and a skilled care provider. I will always hold her in my heart. I can only hope she and Bill are up there sharing war stories.

A sweet lady. My sincere condolences to Joe and Chris.
