Warm thoughts and prayers with heartfelt sympathy to all of Reen's family. We were roommates when we first started our careers at the phone company and I will always remember the good times we had...she was a great roommate, as well as a kindhearted, fun loving and hardworking individual. Even though, regretfully, I hadn't seen her in years she was never forgotten. Sharing your sadness and wishing you peace...

Dear Derek and family,
Your mother was a beautiful person who I came to call my friend. We had many nice conversations and lots of laughs during her treatments, and she endured them all with a positive attitude and always a smile. She has been an inspiration to me, and to so many of us at the clinic. I will miss her.

It seems like yeserday you and I were lighting candles in Italy for our parents. I already miss you so much but I know how lucky I was to have you as my very close friend. I will keep you in my heart and forever think about how much we talked, laughed and worried together. I love you and so did my family. Thank you for being my friend and loving me too!

Maureen always had a smile and welcomed me into her home. She took everything with a grain of salt and I can vividly remember her sweet yet stern way of yelling out Dereks name when he was being mischievious or when he would tease her. They had a wonderful relationship and it was clear that they adored one another. She was a kind soul and I will remember her fondly.
