Not sure what to say?

Oh my gosh I just found out about this through a random message, and had lost touch with Maureen over the last few years such a shock. We worked together summers in college and we remained friends for many years until work got in the way. Katie, may God bring peace to her family during this difficult time. She was a light and a great friend, what a sad loss.

I only today, through a birthday notice on Facebook, learned of Maureen's passing. She will always be remembered by me for wonderfully positive spirit, loquacious and thoughtful notes around family and life milestones, and the warm mentorship she showed me when I interned for her a couple decades ago. While I am heartbroken for her family, whom I wish my best with this note, I feel warmly for Maureen in being able to reminisce all that I remember of her, which is wonderful.

Maureen was a truly luminous soul who brought a special light into every place she was...such a tremendous loss to our world. Never forgotten...always remembered.

Grief can be so tremendously hard, but our very special memories of Miss USA, "V" Tony Robbins and of course "London" will help ease the immense void and heartbreaking pain
Remembering Mo and your loved ones today, tomorrow, and always.
Maureen you are so missed and so very much loved.

I listed her as "family" because she was my daughter for the year of her crowning Miss New York USA 1991. Always organized, never late for an appearance and everyone who knew her would feel the same. She was a major part of our Pageant Family and am so very saddened by this loss. Maureen had a great sense of humor, was always warm and inviting. To know her was an honor. May she rest in peace forevermore.

Dearest Katie and Family, I am at a loss for words. I spoke with Maureen often, we had a special place in our hearts for each other. I'm so incredibly heartbroken and sorry for your/our loss. Mo Mo was the kindest, loving and generous soul. We are keeping you close in thought and prayer. So very, very sorry.

Maureen you were amazing ... one of a kind and so kind to me, my family. I am so sad. Eternal rest

I am saddened. I was there when u were in Miss USA. We just reconnected and u said nothing about your illness. May your eternal reward be glorious and made whole.

Im so devastated by the loss of my pageant sister. My condolences to her family. My heart is forever broken.
