I remember fondly Maureen's parent coming to dinner at my parents' (Theodore and Maryann Meekins) house and our visiting them. In particular, I remember our family visiting them one Christmas and us kids spent hours playing a new cool game that Maureen had received - Concentration. I'm very sorry to just learn of the passing of Maureen. This has been a horrible year with the passing of so many beloved individuals.
I have fond memories of many family get togethers and dinners between Maureen's parents and my parent's (Mary Ann and Theodore Meekins). Our hearts are saddened, but our spirits lift when we begin to reflect on the times we spent together attending social events, golf weekends in Myrtle Beach, enjoying your gift of storytelling; especially family episodes that were hilarious. We will miss your ready smile, warm greeting, quick wit, and sense of humor. We thank God for having known you; may you rest in peace.
