Although you and I have never met and Maureen may never have mentiioned my name, I knew Maureen many many years ago and often think of the many good times that we spent with each other over 40 years ago. I lost touch with Maureen back in the early 70's along with the rest of the gang at the time, Danny DiFonzo, Teddy Moynihan, Nancy Copithorne and others. Maureen and I first met back in 1964 when I lived two houses away from her in Somerville.

We are very sad at the news that Maureen had passed. Unfortunately, we did not hear anything about it until it came up in conversation with Mike Walsh yesterday.

Maureen was a wonderful person and we consider ourselves fortunate to have known her as long as we did. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and all of Maureen's family and many friends.

You will be missed by many, and those who never had the chance to you know you, will never feel the warmth and unconditional friendship you gave freely. You were truly a unique and wondershop perons. You will live forever through those who had to pleasure to know you. Your husband, John, is a special man to have shared your life. The world is a better place because of you.
