Schroepfer family: My prayers and condolences to all of you. Upon reading Maureen's obituary in the Sleepy Eye Herald-Dispatch, as a distant Bertrrand relative, i remember her parents, and seeing the family at the semi-annual Bertrand Reunion. Her photo bears a resemblance to my mother, Mathilda (Pepy) Bertrand Krzmarzick. I only wish I had known your mother better. She must have been a joy to know.

I got to know Mo at iris Park, where my mom, Betty J., lives. Mo was such a lively, fun person--a treat to be around. She always greeted me and called me by name when I saw her. We often invited her to parties and family get-togethers at iris Park. She had a great sense of humor and was interesting to talk to. My deepest sympathy to Mo's family. We all miss her!

I had the pleasure of meeting Mo at Iris Park where my mother also lives. The first time I met her she immediately made me laugh and I looked for her every time I came to visit. She was a great friend to my mother and I am grateful for having known her. She was a gem.

We will really miss Mo at St. Marks. She was just the kindest and friendliest person ever. Her smile and positive attitude always gave me a lift. What a blessing to have known her. So glad we can at least be united with her in prayer. Praying for the repose of her soul in the loving arms of Jesus. As she is praying for all the family to know his comfort and love.

I knew "Mrs. S." from my high school and college days. Even though I haven't seen her in years, I remember her as a kind mom with a wonderful sense of humor. She could make a mean batch of popcorn too!!!

Maureen was such an inspiration for living, laughing, and loving. It will be my challenge to repay even half the goodness she has shown me and my family!

Maureen always had a smile for students at St. Thomas. Her Irish wit and down home stories brightened many a day. She was an active listener and always responded positively to whatever came up during the day. Oh the stories she could tell.
