CHICOPEE – Maureen Claire Sullivan, 67, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 5th. She was born in Springfield on January 4, 1948, the daughter of the late Francis J. and Claire I. (Ouimette) Sullivan. Maureen graduated from Holy Name High School in 1965. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Kathleen Brunelle. Maureen has been a valuable employee of RiverBend Medical Group for over 30 years. Maureen is survived by her son, Michael R. Brunelle and his wife Cindy of Chicopee, 3 brothers, Paul Sullivan of Chicopee, Ned Sullivan and his wife Patty of Springfield and Michael J. Sullivan and his wife Cindy of Old Lyme, CT, her "Boys" Ryan and Adam Brunelle, who will miss their "Mema" greatly and a beautiful granddaughter, Sarah Schulz. She also leaves her loving aunt, Marion Dean of Middletown, CT, several nieces and nephews, lifelong friends and her beloved dog "Tucker". Maureen was an avid wine and food enthusiast. She was a lover of music, arts, culture and all things "Yorkie". She was also a QVC Black Card member (UPS and FedEx will be laying off 20 employees). Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Corridan Funeral Home, 333 Springfield St., Chicopee with the Memorial Service beginning at 6:30. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Maureen's memory may be made to Lorraine's Soup Kitchen, 170 Pendexter Ave., Chicopee, MA, 01013 or to the Thomas J. O'Connor Animal Shelter by remitting to Thomas J. O'Connor Foundation, Development Office, 627 Cottage St., Springfield, MA, 01104.
