Carl, Kate, Laura, and family, I am deeply saddened to learn that Maureen has died. I remember her caring so lovingly for Kate and Laura as babies. We would laugh at little mishaps. Maureen had a great laugh and could light up a room. Kate and Laura, know that your mother loved you from moment one. I remember her teaching you both to dance before you could walk holding you safely in her arms and singing. A brilliant woman and deeply loved and appreciated by many. I am sorry I am now just...

Dear Valente Family, My heart goes out to you all. Maureen was a kind, caring and intelligent woman. I served on the state retirement board with her this past year and only got to know her via zoom meetings. Her work ethic, service, and kindness for the members and her fellow board members is how I remember her. May she Rest In Peace.

Dear cousin Carl and family. Condolences from our family to yours. Thinking of you during this sad time. Love from cousin Beatrice, Laurie and Christine.

Condolences from the SODERBERG Poe Walker Families

Carl, I am so sad to hear about Maureen´s sudden passing at such an early age. My heart goes out to you and your wonderful family. Paul Ash

So very sad to hear of Maureen's passing and sending deepest condolences to Carl, their children and grandchildren, and family. Maureen's long career of public service-- and Carl's-- have had a lasting impact on the people they served and on the generations of colleagues they inspired.

Carl, A lifetime passes so quickly for us - I remember how happy you were when we were first introduced to Maureen, and I can still hear echoes of her infectious laugh. Truly, you were gifts to one another, enjoying a life of joy, success, and two wonderful children. Bereavement leaves us alone in our thoughts and memories, but your bonds to family will get you through this period. To Kate and Laura, losing one's mom is one of the hardest experiences in our lives. Cherish her memories. My...
