MAURICE & ALICE MARSOLAIS

Mr. Marsolais was my counselor at the Sonora Job Corp CC in Sonora California in 1967. He was the best man that I ever knew. It´s incalculable how much this man helped me. I can still remember talking with him and watching him roll his cigarette.

When we lived on Warwick Avenue Maurice and I rode the bus together into Washington. I remember many mornings standing and talking at the bus stop on Bevan Dr. Later Maurice and Alice helped my campaigns for City Council by addressing and stuffing envelopes and putting a sign in their yard.
Remember them fondly.

I've lived across the street from the Marsolais since they moved into their house. I went to school with Monica and Marianne so I have known the family a long time. My parents also knew them well. They will always hold a special place in my heart. I will always remember Mr Marsolais out in the yard weeding and planting. And Mrs Marsolais, when she would see one of us outside would hurry across the street to talk. They enjoyed watching our 2 younger kids playing in our yard. My family...
