I am devastated to learn, through the Case Alumni magazine, of the loss of my friend and colleague Mike Adams. We were co-workers in the Mechanics department of the Westinghouse Research Center, and sometimes collaborated on projects. Mike completed his PhD studies while working full-time at the labs, and we took a few courses together, although I didn't complete mine. My sincere condolences to all the Adam´s family. Just heard the news today. We had no idea that your wonderful father had passed and only just heard from Mary Hobbs. Mike was so kind and lovely. We had great chats at Nighttown and enjoyed his company when we had him over for dinner a few times just down the street. He was so proud of his children and boasted unashamedly of you all. I am so very sorry for your loss. I still remember hearing Mike playing is clarinet in his office at Case - he would do that once in a while after he went Emeritus. It was gorgeous to listen to! He clearly felt the music at a deep level.
