I was looking up Dove Hunting in the Rosharon, TX area, and remembered Maurice. My brother and I used to hunt his property, year after year, in the 90's. A very intriguing man, full of knowledge and willing to share. Great guy, thank you for the memories out there in that flooded timber! We only knew you a few years, but you will never be forgotten!

I will always be grateful to Maurice and Surrenden for their kindness and generosity toward me and my family. I am blessed to have known them both and their beautiful children, Trey and Katherine. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

God rest his soul and bless his loved ones with peace and happy memories.

Maurice always had a kind word, good story and a bit of humor for everyone. He worked with many different people of different backgrounds and no one every had an unkind word for him. He was beloved by all. He went out of his way to help others. Those of us who knew him here in Alaska share in your loss but we feel blessed to have known and worked with him. Maurice ANgly was a stellar citizen whose efforts in the early years contributed greatly to the growth of the Republican Party in Texas. The fruits of his labor can be seen daily in our state. While he will be missed, his good deeds live on.

My prayers are with Maurice's family for their loss. Maurice was a great friend, Chi Phi brother and room mate at Texas. Memories are swirling about wonderful times together. He was a blessing to those around him.
