I am a graduate of Baruch College, class of 1970. Certain economics classes were required for my BBA degree and that is where I encountered Professor Benewitz. For many years, Arbitrator Benewitz presided over arbitrations where I was the court reporter. He was a unique, passionate and funny man who loved to keep a phatom score card when someone said something brillant to counter his humor. His playnessful made otherwise boring proceedings bearable.
