Not sure what to say?

Janet i just saw where you lost your father. I am so sorry for your loss. I too have lost my parents. It will not hurt so deeped as time goes by. Randy Albrecht Bastrop FFA 81-83

I’m very sorry to here about Maurice. He was a very thoughtful and loving person. I remember one of the times when Joe Henry was visiting us here in Georgia many years ago that he was very proud of Maurice as a son-in-law. May the Lord bless you and your family.

So very sorry for your loss and letting you know that you are in my prayers.

Dear Bennight Family,

I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Bennight. I remember when Maurice and Marlene lived across from us on Garfield Street. My Dad and Maurice always had a special friendship and their fondness for good horses. I imagined they are again sharing those kindred conversations. I remember when he allow our old horse Maudine retire in his pasture of high grass. He was kind and charming, like all of the Bennight family are, and I am glad I got a chance to know...

Maurice will be missed at Lockhart Auction Barn. Ill miss his constant pranks. Ill miss his weekly question, Is it muddy up at your place? You didnt get stuck did you? He was a Texas icon and besides that he was a friend. He wont be replaced.

He was an amazing Rancher and Man to all. I am so very sorry for your loss. Heaven gained a great man. Barbara Gattis

Philip, it is difficult to understand how a man described as small in stature could leave such a huge hole in our hearts. I think it is because he "lived so large" and was so special to so many people. My prayers are with you and your entire family.

Bubba so sorry to hear of the death of your father - our prayers are with you and your family

Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. Sorry to loose one of Bastrop's true cowboys
