Not sure what to say?

Words can't express how much the women's softball league appreciated Benny for the way he respected us as athletes and players. He always took every game seriously, and with good humor at the same time. Thank you Benny for respecting the women's league the way you did so many years ago and for so many years. I know that the Cornerstone was your favorite team.

You will be missed Benny. Our sympathy goes out to you Fran and your family.

I don't know where to begin, I could talk about how great of a father, grandfather, husband and in general person my Pepe was for days! I will always remember the walks to the candy store/ cheasapeake bay. I used to love going to the ball field and watching you ump. I love you Pepe. I apologize for not being able to make it to MA, wish I could.

P.S. The Patriots are playing well, so you can't call them "Bums" yet! haha!

I loved umpiring softball with Bennie because I knew nobody would argue or complain about our calls...he had a way with people that can't be taught. Bennie was a mentor for me back in the seventies, and he was a joy to work with. He'll be calling balls and strikes at the higher level now.

Dear Fran and family--Sorry to hear of the loss of Benny--my sincerest sympathy and prayers for you all--

Benny was our umpire in the women's league ,...forever . Over the years I came to believe , in all honesty , he liked Dillion's team more than the others . Wink Wink ,...Benny was well respected and liked among the league . In true form he was our favorite umpire, a lot of calls went our way ,...thanks Benny ,...we appreciated all of them ! Please accept my deepest sympathy .I will pray you find peace and comfort in your memories of him !
