Maury and I met in the 1970's when we carpooled together from Capitol Hill to the Big Airplane Factory in Renton. We would get together a couple times a year for coffee or lunch, and he would always make me feel me feel like I was still cute, young and thin. For example, when I got pulled over for speeding (40 in a 35) and didn't get a ticket, he said the policeman gave me a pass because I was a fox. He was a wonderful listener and I will miss not having him in my life to listen...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

To the Caldwell family,
I would like to say you are in our thoughts & prayers. We were so sorry to hear about Mr. Caldwells passing.
I can remember all the adults getting together for parties, with our parents!

Maurice, may you rest eternally at peace, knowing that you did the best that you could do while here. It was a real pleasure to work with you at Boeing during the "old days" when we were both engineers. I enjoyed working with you then. When I last saw you downtown Seattle and you told me that you had left Boeing, I knew then that we had lost one of our best people. God bless you and your family! Best Regards,

Rest in peace Maurice, you were one of the best managers I ever worked for ...your glass was never half empty,

To the Caldwell Family,

On behalf of the Charleston Base SUBVETS and Swamp Fox Chapter SUBVETS WWII, I offer you our sincere condolences on Maurice's passing. We grieve with you on the loss of your loved one and all SUBVETS and their families have your family in our thoughts and prayers. There is no expiration date on the back of our dolphins and Maurice will always be remembered as a Brother of the Phin and a great Patriot.
