CECIL, ANNE ROBERTS, 67, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010 at her residence.

Anne was born December 14, 1942 in Frankfort, KY, graduated from the Appalachian School of Nursing as a GLPN, practicing in hospitals in Lexington, Morehead, and Louisville in addition to one in Vietnam, early in her career. Anne was a member of Southeast Christian Church in Louisville.

Anne is survived by her husband, Joseph Cecil; her sister, Susan Allison, of Houston, TX; her nieces and nephews, Anne Kim and John Allison (Tammy), of Houston, Catherine Riley (Ron), of Morehead, KY and Marcus Harbert (Carrie), of Mt. Washington, KY.

Visitation will be at the Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, on November 10, 2010, from 3-8 p.m. with the funeral being at 11 a.m. Thursday. The burial will follow at the Frankfort Cemetery, Frankfort.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Salvation Army in lieu of flowers at your preference.

I remember 15 years ago when I was fortunate enough to have met you and Anne. I have fond memories of our visit together when I was a teenager. I was saddened to hear of your loss of Anne and wish to convey my many condolances. I am saddened that I did not get the opportunity to visit before Anne's passing.
