I did not know Mr. Chartoff, however I felt that I must offer my sincere condolences to his family. His service to his country and what he must have endured during his imprisonment in WWII deserve the highest appreciation and recognition. Rest in Peace Mr. Chartoff. I, for one will remember your service and will pray for you. God Bless, Nettie Lees

My father, Oscar Samson, will truly miss Maurice. They ate at the same table at Brookdale in Woodbridge for many years. My father considered him a good friend. Maurice was a nice man and he lead an exemplary life. We all will miss him.
