Not sure what to say?

Dear Aunt Sarah, Patty and Family,

Time and distance can separate us, but it can’t erase the many fond memories of time spent with Uncle Maurice over the years. I know his family and friends will miss him, yet I also know his love and full life will help erase the pain of loss.

Dear Aunt Sarah and cousin Patty,
I am saddened at the passing of your brother and father. Uncle Maurice was a second father to me during my early childhood and was loved by me. I hope you can take comfort in his having led a full life and left us with so many loving memories. Love Lewis and Sharon

Mrs. Deyong, Leslie & Bob--We are saddened to hear of the death of your brother and uncle. We will never forget our great conversation with him at your home. What a wonderful memory and sense of humor he had. With heartfelt sympathy and love, Elizabeth and Bob

My father was best friends with your Dad a long time ago, My dad owned Carter's Barber Shop in the Buckroe Shopping Center and your mom had the beauty shop in the same shopping center. Our fathers used to play golf every chance they could get. Please accept my brother's, James Jr, and my, Patricia Carter Edwards condolences. Your father was a fine man...

I met Maurice about 15 months ago when I moved to the Hidenwood to be with my husband, John. We were table mates in the dining room, and it was the highlight of our day to come together for that last meal of the day. This is where we shared news of our day and said goodnight. Maurice was a wonderful caring man, and I will miss him very much. To the family my condolences. Ruth, you have my continued love.

I am so sorry for the family and close friends of Maurice. I have known him for about 15 years. He loved to dance and I was fortunate enough to have the pleasure of his lead. I also knew him from Costco. He will now be greatly missed. Time will make his leaving easier. My prayers go out to all who are grieving

Though I had only known Maurice for a few years, like all who knew him, I loved him. He was a good, kind, wonderful man who's love for Ruth was evident for all to see. He will remain in my thoughts and prayers. Shalom, my friend.
