Not sure what to say?

Maury will be missed. We enjoyed working with Maury while he was County Clerk. We still enjoyed meeting him for lunch once a year with us retired clerks. We extend our sympathy. Linda Wiser, retired City of Walker Clerk and Sharon Streelman, retired City of Grandville Clerk.

I woke up the morning of my wedding day realizing that I had not picked up my marriage certificate from the County Clerks office. I called Maury at home on a Saturday of a holiday weekend and he met me at the County Clerks office to get me the certificate so I could officially get married that day. Just a testimony to what a kind and giving person he was. His thanks is in Heaven.

I am deeply saddened to learn that Maury passed away. He was my boss at the County Clerk's Office. He had a sense of humor and stories that were interesting.
My thoughts and prayers are with Theda, Mary, Tom and his grandchildren.

I'm saddened to hear of Maury's death. I worked in the County Building while he was Clerk. I was so impressed by his integrity and kindness that I have often thought of him over the years. I wish I had shared with him how he exemplified Christian values within a hugely secular setting. My prayers are with his family.

My deepest condolences to Theda. We will all miss him very much. We will never forgot his voice or his stories.

I didnt get to say goodbye...I will miss him very much. He was one of the nicest people I ever knew. I know he is in Heaven and smiling down. It doesn't take away the pain but we know He is with Jesus. My love goes out to Theda and his family.

We are deeply saddened to learn that Maury passed away. He was a kind and gentle man and a joy to work with in the County Clerk's Office. He never made you feel he was boss, but was part of the team. Our thoughts and prayers are with Theda, Mary, Tom and his grandchildren.

Theda & Family...We were surprised and saddened to learn of Maury's death. We had a wonderfuf friendship over sixty years starting when he returned from service working Saturday's in my father's shoe store. We often mentioned how fortunate we were working togther for Kent County. Today, I feel a real void as I lost a very loyal and trusted friend. We both extend our most sincere sympathy and you are in our daily thoughts and prayers.

I had the great pleasure of working with Maury many years ago at The Press. He had a great sense of humor and a wealth of stories. I feel honored to have known and worked with him. My sympathies to the family and all of his friends.
