Not sure what to say?

Jerry's wife, Patricia, and I worked together in drug development over the years . I always admired their devotion to each other. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I knew Jerry from Central High and U Chicago, where he got me to join Alpha Delti Phi fraternity. He was bright, warm, and had a wicked sense of humor. We spent time together playing softball, going to Cubs games, dining at Jewish delis, camping, and enjoying a cold brewski. I will miss Jerry.

Jerry was a remarkable intellect and both a good friend and excellent conversationalist. I will greatly miss our hours together, which were both educational and entertaining. We had many things in common. His passing is a great loss to me. Lloyd (Neighbor and friend for many years)

He was a brother at Alpha Delta Phi. He was a grad student while I was an undergrad. He was funny, clever and an excellent softball pitcher. The only pitcher I know who threw his pitches with a cigarette in his mouth. I remember him fondly.

I was a classmate of Jerry´s at Central High. He was one of the sweetest and humble person I´ve ever met and nice to everyone he met. Offering my condolences to his entire family. Fondly Ronna Halperin Kaplan

Please omit earlier Jerry was my first cousin. Our families celebrated many occasions together such as birthdays and holidays. Jerry and I remained very close and always kept in contact as well as me flying to Chicago for a visit. Jerry always made sure I had a memorable time, either by going to the notable area sites, visiting the IITcampus and sitting in one of his math classes, or just shopping at a mall. My husband and I made a special trip out to celebrate our anniversary with Jerry and...

I have wonderful memories of Jerry throughout high school in Omaha. He was always one of the truly " good guys". Susie Silverman

Jerry was an interracial part of my family. We remained very close through the years On many occasions I would visit Very and Pat in Chicago and Jerry always made sure I had a good time time. Highlights of all my visits were touring all the museums and sites, sitting in one of his math classes, and my husband and I celebrating our anniversary with Jerry has ben and always will be very special to May his memory be for a blessing.

I knew Jerry from about second grade on. We were students in the Sputnik age attending rigorous science classes to "catch up" with the USSR. By the time Jerry became a mathematics whiz-kid, that frenzy had passed. We shall miss his inspiring wit and infectious laugh. Goodbye good friend.
