For scores of children at Alameda Elementary, Pete was not just their bus driver, he was their Captain and, almost always, the first non-family smile of their school days. For many of those children's parents, Pete was the same thing. His spirit was a light for us. He is irreplaceable and already so deeply missed. Our condolences to his family and dear friends.
