I WORKED FOR MAURY IN 1967-69. I WAS HIS SECRETARY. I WILL NEVER FORGET HIM BECAUSE HE WAS THE BEST AND NICEST BOSS ANYONE COULD EVER WORK FOR.

I just received this notice of the anniversary of Maury's passing; I enjoyed reading the comments shared by others knowing how much the Kutner family was and is loved. I could share many humorous stores shared with Maury and Marisol but it would be boring to others. Our lives were so enriched by the blessing of knowing the Kutner family. There is no way to describe the zest for life shared by Maury with all who came in contact with him and Marisol. He will be forever in our hearts and we...

I had the pleasure of meeting Maury and Marisol in the late 70's. They became cherished friends even though we only got to speak to them on rare occasions. I thanked them in my heart daily for being a most important part to my marring my wife of 40 years. We always prayed for their family and happiness. Maury and Marisol will remain in our mind and heart until hopefully we will meet again. He was definitely a unique individual and one we always wished we could have spent much more time...

Deeply sadden to hear about Kutner's passing. I was fortunate to work in the same office, and enjoying his witty remarks and fun personality in spite of work. He will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences to Marisol and the rest of his family. May he rest in peace.

I just found out about Maury’s demise and I am shocked and very saddened! I was his proud legal secretary from 1970 to 1975 when I left to have my second son. Marisol actually came to replace me then, and we all kept in touch with each other for some years after I left. Besides being a wonderful boss, he was a great, compassionate, sweet and generous human being. He made you feel like family. I learned a lot from him. I remember visiting him at his law offices and how proud he was of his...

My first job as a lawyer never felt like work because of Kutner. He was fun, generous, and without pretense. I was lucky to have the opportunity to learn from him (and Mari). Of course, he was a great lawyer. He had a personal style that made him relatable and intimidating at the same time, and that made him a great litigator. But it was his humanity that I admired the most. He was a great person. And he was a real person. In the past couple of weeks when people have reminisced with me about...

I worked with Kutner as a young attorney for almost three years, from February 1998 to late 2000. Kutner was one of the most exceptional human beings -- in multiple ways -- that I have ever known. He was warm, charming, and forthright. He always looked you in the eye, shook your hand, and smiled. And he was without a doubt the most skilled, diligent, and knowledgeable attorney I know. And while he did not have to be, he was always very generous with his time, his knowledge, and his...

I met Maurice Kutner in 1985 when I worked with Mel Rubin, between the two I learned a lot about family law. Every chance I had to see him after those years was a great experience and a memorable laughing one, he always had the best jokes and fast responses to anything said. I wish I could have worked for him as his secretary, I am sure it would have been a blast. I was totally shocked when I found out about his passing, but again a great man, great destiny and great life. God Bless.
