JHQ North Stavanger Norway 2001

Very caring and inspirational leader! I had the honor of being a VIP-driver and part of his security detail when I was a conscript in the Norwegian armed forces at the JHQ North in Stavanger in 2001

Lt Gen McFann was a caring and inspirational commander, especially to those so junior to him. He wouldn't hesitate a second to support his subordinates. It's who he was...a man of incredible character. I look back on my days under his leadership with great fondness. I will never forget him or the example he set for us all.

I worked for Lt Gen McFann in Izmir, Turkey. I spent many long days and nights with him and Ms. Debbie. They both treated me like family and I will always cherish the memories we shared. I Miss you dearly Sir and you will NEVER be forgotten... Mike

I worked with Lee on three AF assignments. I just found out about his passing and I´m so sorry for your loss. I didn´t realize he was ill. Was it death expected?

Lee, I received last letter just before you retired. I Still can see you when we were playing Little league. I am sick now, you are in my prayers. See you soon. my friend. Always Tom Parsons
