Not sure what to say?

I remember that Uncle Maurice used to smoke a pipe and he had this old coffee pot (metal/tin, I think, and big) that he used to make coffee in. Anyone else remember it? He was also always offering me something to eat or drink each time I had the pleasure of visiting with him. I probably gained 5 pounds every visit because of that candy dish that was convenient to the sofa. I have tons of memories but those are the ones that came to me last night when I was thinking about him.

I'll...

My Dad loved his Family, Church and the USA. There must be one heck of a reunion happening before God, as he was greeted by Grandpa and Grandma Nickle and all of his brothers and sisters.

A special memory for me,
Dad and Mom never missed my baseball games, and when I hit my first homerun, I flipped the ball over the fence to Dad. I'll never forget the pride he and I shared in that moment.
I just wish he could have seen The Nickle Boys play ball.

Another memory was when...

Our deepest sympathy to the family. I am happy he will be able to be with my Dad,Ed and other bothers and sisters. Many warm thoughts and prayers.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...

The world is a little dimmer because Uncle Maurice is no longer here. BUT heaven is brighter because he's there. If anyone wants to know how to live life in peace and happiness, just learn as much as possible about this man, who led a Christ centered life.

Worked the night shift with "Mo" for several years at the HEdrick Central Office of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Was just thinking about him this weekend. I should have called. I'll see him again someday.
