Bonnie - I too was one of Gene's classmates at Albright in 1967. I remember him as a friendly giant (compared to me) with a great sense of humor. He was both a gentle man and a gentleman. My condolences to you and your family over your loss.

Gene has been a dear friend for some 40 years after meeting and working together at Lake Mead. I will miss his reminising about the "old days" and his humorous stories during our telephone conversations. My sincere condolences to Bonnie and their family.

I worked for Gene at Gulf Islands and I have always admired him. He was always such a gentleman and true supporter of the law enforcement program. He taught me many things and I will always remember him and his great sence of humor. God Bless.

I remember in the early years of marriage when the two of you would go into town to get groceries and take in a movie together. You had such good times. Gene was a perfect match for you... a caring, steadfast person who was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. In some ways those 34 years of marriage went by too...
