I was sadden to learn of the passing of your BELOVED father, Mr. Maurice Preston, Sr. He was such a nice person. I remember when we were students at Jackson State University, how he took us to the Greyhound Bus Station in Chicago to go back to school. May you and your family cherish the precious memories that he left behind, and know that he is in GOD's care now. Thank GOD for the 94 years of service here on earth, and know that earth has no sorrow that heaven...

I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Preston. My memories of him is singing in the choir at First AME Church. Maurice and I go back to our years at Andrean. Mrs. Preston you were so kind when my Mom( Mrs. Colie Jones) and my aunt,Jean Swift, were ill.
