Read MoreMoe would come into the McDonalds I worked at every morning and get his egg muffin, a coffee with honey and read the news paper. We formed a bond and would tell me stories about his life during the war, child and a civilian. He was a great man and I will always remember him fondly. I know im 10 years late to this but he's always wandering around in my head and I decided to search him up. God bless him.

I have to say I have fond memories of the 2 brothers from the pizza parlor on Palm & Olive. At about 9 years old (around 1958) my parents and 2 sisters would look from outside to marvel at pizza dough being tossed high into the air then the olive oil, sauce, other toppings layered, and slipped into the oven. Then we would come in and taste the best pizza. I still find it difficult to replicate the taste and tell my friends, " you should have tasted the Italian Kitchen Pizza"! A few years...
