Not sure what to say?

Thank you Maurice for your dedicated military service for this Great Nation and the freedom for all of us to cherish today. It was a honor of knowing you as a friend and comrade at Chinatown Post 328, The American Legion. I am sure you are in good hands upstairs and joining your submarine buddies. May God Bless you all.

Maurice, we all missed you and I am sure your old pals Henry OI and others are meeting you up there. Your past support of Chinatown Post 328 and friendship are not forgotten. On behalf of the Post, I thank you for your service for God and Country. May God bless your family.

Dear Mrs. Searle,
My wife and I were on a cruise and sorry to miss the wake and our Chinatown Post 328, A.L. ritual for honoing Maurice's service to this grateful nation. We are not only lost a member but a great friend. On behalf of Post 328, may God bless you and your family.

Although Murray is no longer with us, he remains an inspiration to me for his work ethic, kindness and devotion to Belle and family. He will always be in my thoughts.

Mr. Searle,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II as a member of the "Silent Service" and also for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Auntie Belle, Cousin Darry and Richard,

We love you very much. You Murray was a very special man. We will miss him so much.

Dear Darryln,
My heart goes out to you during this very sad time. May your cherished memories of "Papa Searle" bring you peace and comfort.
My Deepest Sympathy to you and your loving family.

Our condolences on the loss of one of the finest gentlemen I've ever met. He will truly be missed. The thoughts and prayers or our family are with yours in this time of grief.

My heartfelt condolences to Belle and the Searle family on the passing of a great, great man, Murray Searle.
My family always spoke of the compassion and concern he had for so many people. No doubt that he will be missed, of course, by his family as well as his many friends.
