Greetings, Though I never met Admiral Weisner, I had the distinct pleasure of knowing Brothers Lee and Mickey, then...Hall Weisner. Outstanding young men and Awesome, Champion Gymnasts. I also learned that their younger brother, Stewart was an accomplished Gymnast as well. I want to state that I have maintained a "Remembrance Panel" at my HQ, U.S. Army office in honor of my friend and mentor, Franklin Lee Weisner, MIA since OCT 10, 1969. I played over 1,000 Full Honors Funerals in Arlington...

I served on the USS Coral Sea when Adm Weisner was the CO, I had 2 occasions to meet him, once when I got back to the ship a day late and I had to go before him at " Captains Mast " he gave me a weekend restriction which was a slap on the wrist but I was so scared that I never did it agaian. The next meeting was a couple of months later and I was at the pier in NAS Alameda waiting to catch a launch over to The Coral sea which was In the yards at San Francisco Naval Shipyard....... as I was...
