Smokey was a regular on the Monroeville AARP bus trips. My mother, Erma Adamson(who organized the trips) and my dad Chuck, remember him well and send their condolances. I often participated in the trips and loved talking to Smokey - he had a great sense of humor and made for a fun and uplifting atmosphere. My deepest sympathy to all the family.

Carol and family, I am so sorry for your loss. From the way you talked about him he was a wonderful man. I'm sure he'll be rewarded in heaven. Love you! Linda and John Goetz

Thanks, Uncle for your sense of humor and the quiet moments we laughed together. I always knew I would get some very subtle
and interesting bit of advice about the garden, penny stocks,
or where to get the best coins. I often think of the day you stood with me at confirmation and how proud I was. You will be missed.
