Not sure what to say?

Something wonderful has happened. You all know that Maury had a way of living "all out" with a little drama and spice always added to any endeavor....results being just a bit more dramatic than the norm. I guess he's still at it.

At the end of the year, I told a good friend my intention to plant a tree, donate a bench for a park or something to create a space where I can be prayerful or thoughtful with memories of Mo. She gave me the name of a friend of hers who is building a...

This guest book is an incredible way for me to stay connected to memories of my son, Maury and his many friendships. I miss him so much. It hurts. Someone told me that sometimes when we cry, it's our heart spilling over with all the love we feel. My heart spills pretty regularly and, more and more, I feel the love. I'm grateful for the little time we had, Maury. I would so love to see you once more. Your Mom is thinking of you and praying for you...as always.

Maury,

You were "my brother from another mother" and I loved you. We had a lot of good times and I will cherish them forever. It was your visit to me in Chicago that persuaded me to get my ear pierced, which I never thought that I would do. We laughed our butts off that day. By the way, I still wear it and it will always remind me of you as it does to this day.

You touched more lives than you were aware of and I am sure that you are doing the same in heaven. I pray that in spite...

I saw a Maury look alike in traffic yesterday, I broke into tears...

Mom Patsy, what a beautiful entry you wrote! I know that Steve Miller song well! I'm so glad for you to have Loretta to be your strength, what a truly great friend! Let's get together soon and let me scan those pictures for you that we discussed! I'm still tearing up the attic looking for mine!
We love you Maury!! Have you danced with Marilyn Munroe yet? You will always be in our hearts! I see my brother David also signed this guestbook! Very nice! xxoo

I first met Maury back in the 80's at social settings, usually sports on the tube at friend's houses, and he acted like we were best friends, after I just met him!" How's Lisa doin'? You feelin' alright? What's going on?" etc., etc. Then, he applied for a job in 1989 with the FL DOI, and I was to interview him as his possible supervisor. When he saw me he lit up with a huge smile, laugh and hug, and said he would be the best consumer complaint analyst I could imagine. Of course, I was ready...

Maury: You and I went way back…playing softball together on a number of teams, hunting at WP Woodberry Club (remember how aggravated I was at you for killing those two bucks one evening out of the same stand) and fishing on Lake Jackson many, many times (I hear’m calling). Whew!

I was on your team encouraging you to go back to school for your degree and even hired you until you could find a “real job”. You saw my boys, Brooks and Brett grow up.

I counseled you...

To Maury's Family and Friends,

My husband and I purchased our home from Maury and Leah in 1995. What should have been merely a financial transaction turned into a much more personal one. Maury was such a terrific person you couldn't help but like him immediately. Through the years whenever we'd see him he'd ask about "his" house.

They say a friend is someone who touches your heart. Maury touched our hearts. He spoke so honestly of his love for his family. ...

My heart truly goes out to all of you who knew my brother. I am absolutely amazed at the lovingness and kindness of all who have talked to me and written since his death. I must say, it is still unbelievable to me that he is no longer with us on this earth.

Gary, thank you so much for your contribution. It will serve as a living memorial and testimony to Maury and all he cared for. Maury spoke to me many times about your friendship with him. He loved you. I look forward to meeting...
