Goodbye, little guy. Now you get to meet all my little guys who are already there waiting for you, in a field of eternal fetch, with a bowl of chicken and beef doggy fajitas, and a cloud-soft bed. I will growl at the mailman for you next time I see him.

These have been the nicest - sweetest - most sincere posting I have seen in an obituary in the 60+ years I have been reading the obits in the Star Telegram ( started as a carrier in 1960's ). I think so great and wonderful the expressions and I too have had pets I feel the same about - and they keep coming. True compassion for our buddies loss. We hope to cross the bridge and be with them again - now that would be heaven. IMO

My Angus lived a wonderful life until he was 16 1/2. He was waiting for Maverick to join him. Take comfort that he has a friend!
