Great memories of Mavis always dressed to impress sitting in our mom's (Jeanne Cummings) kitchen. She would come in quick, drink her coffee quicker and leave in a flash after some gossip. Mavis was an amazing baker and I loved many a treat with Heather when I was a kid visiting at their house. Mavis could be seen on her daily "fast" walk around the neighbourhood. She was a great lady.
