Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Kallsen was a palpable personality in our neighborhood. Her personality was dynamic and so full of life. Very often I would visit MaryAnn at her house, swim in their beautiful pool, and look out over Commencement Bay. Always the lovely hostess, she would make sure I was fed and had something to drink and always had fun at the Kallsen´s. They were part of my perfect growing up dream... the best neighbors and the nicest people ever! Paula Wickstrom Pimentel

I just found out today, and I'm sorry that Scott and I missed the service. Mavis and Dr. Bob were part of the Eshelman family's life for as long as I can remember, both on 29th St. and at Burton. Best wishes to all the family during this difficult time.

She was one hell of a great auntie to us all. I shall miss her creativity and her energy. You gave me many happy moments Auntie M and I shall miss you.

Bob, and all the family.
We are so sorry about Mavis. She surely was a influential person in not only your lives, but the community as well. We always enjoyed her phone calls. She would bring us up to date on the events of your family. We have several strings of beads that she made just for Shirley. We also have one of the first pots she designed and kilned. She gave it to Loren. We treasure them all. This is a difficult time for you. Our thoughts are with all of you.
