Not sure what to say?

Max and I attended high school together 1948-1952 at Jefferson High School in Portland, Oregon. Max was voted "Best Boy Athlete" at Jefferson and we all loved him. He was an example to all who knew him. My heart is with you at this time. Sending the family love and peace.

May God's promise found in John 6:40, of the hope to see our loved ones again, comfort your heart and give you peace, strength, and hope in the days ahead.

Max was amazing! He attended many of the kids games and donated golf clubs to those who needed them. He also raised a great family! He will be missed XOXO

Max is one of the greatest human beings I´ve ever met. Max´s son Jason and I were close friends growing up, and if you were a friend of Jason, you were a friend of Max. There are so many good memories. We packed Max´s VW bug countless times with a bunch of kids and went to the YMCA, baseball practice, golf, Blazer games, and so many other cool things. Max coached three of my little league baseball teams. As a coach, he stressed the fundamentals, gave every kid equal innings, and made us...

Thank you max for being a great grandad and someone who always had a smile while we played golf and many sports together growing up. I always will remember those great memories that me and Pete shared with you. You will be always missed. Love Your grandson, Louie

Max was a wonderful man who shares his life with so many. He is missed deeply. He was a loving partner to our Mother Jackie and a great guy with my son's Peter and Louis. He taught them golf and helped out with bottle drives for there sport events at Benson High School. Max loved finding treasures at Goodwill and helped me with many needed furnishings. He was out gentle giant. Swing long in heaven as you sink that birdie Max!

Max was one of my favorite uncles when I was a child. It was unfortunate that after my mother passed away in the 1976 that the connection with the Anderson family was severed. There was minimal engagement with anyone from that side of the family unless it had to deal with the passing of a member...Ivan, Grandpa, Grandma, Jerry...again...sad. Rest in peace Max. Thank you for selling me your 1967 VW Bug

I shared with Max the joy and excitement of the '51 state championship game in basketball at Jefferson. My thoughts go out to his family.

I will always remember Uncle Max for his kindness and his big smile.
