Max Atteberry

Sorry for your family's loss. My dad, Bob Swadener, worked with Max in Engineering at WEEK and talked of him often. Dad left us this past November at age 99, so I'm sure he'll be up there waiting to welcome Max and reminisce about all the things they loved! We were lucky to have two great guys around as long as we did.

I was also a member of the Mossville Methodist Church and we lived up on Cedar Hills Drive, not far from the Atteberry's. Max helped me get an interview at WEEK-TV and was hired as a floor director in January of 1967. During the year I was there, I would go back to the video tape and film room often where he worked and he would talk me through the process of editing and splicing the media together. That year that I worked there was the best year of my life. Thanks, Max. You will be missed....
