Max Hartwell Beasley Jr.

In this difficult year of global quarantine, our church family is worshiping online. They often share videos of past choir anthems that are appropriate to the message of the day, and many of them show our beloved Max among the basses, singing with all his heart. Quite a few have commented on how much he is missed, and how seeing his face in the choir is poignant and warms a place in our hearts that he left empty. We were blessed to have him with us.

My condolences to the family and friends. Please find peace and comfort in knowing God cares for your family and is there to help you in your difficult time. Psalms 94:19 " When anxieties overwhelmed me,you comforted and soothed me".

I'm truly sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort be with you all. Isa.61:1,2

After many years in the chancel choir with Max, I really came to know him when he was among the first to volunteer to join me in sharing some very special music for our Treasured Times program in 2014. Since then, I have come to treasure his warm heart, generous spirit, and passionate love of music. It was an honor and a real joy to sing with him. It was really nice meeting Max during our Sunday School years at Ark Sunday school,
